o_o Done for a layout to go with a poem someone submitted to our school magazine, which I am on staff for. Not quite the version that'll go with the layout, but i like this better so yeah. I'll submitt the other version to the scraps and link it later. I really want feed back on this one >.> Pleeeaassee comment...


Barriers and Brocades

I've become my mask, taken the task
put on my false, my fake
Played pretend and sealed them in
I hide under layers, don't break
Walls and ceilings, emotions and feelings
barriers and brocades
A Pandora's box full of nails and rocks
eloquence and persuades
Manipulated and conjugated
lied, broken, stole and took
I've embezzled myself, taken my health
I wrote every word in the book
Filled with hate, lowered the rate
Conjured up smoke and smite
Mirrors are Fading, I'm eradicating
the evidence of commas and light

Oh wow is that a beautiful image!! I love the face!! just the expression is soo capitavting!! Man you are good. And those lips are soo cute!! **smiles** I can't do make-up for the life of me. I don't even know if I should put it on my newest image. well keep up the great work!

the poem is very well done. It's unusual. :) I can't put my finger on it, but there's something very nice about it. Same sentiments about the image. Unusual, with something nebulous, but very nice, about it.

That's awesome! The way the face and the mask contrast makes the mask look really creepy. And those swirls and fire around her really add to it.
